Everest Panorama Trek is a short Everest Trek in the Himalayas in Nepal. If you have limited time or are unwilling to tackle climbing high altitudes, but eager to experience the joys in the Everest Region, and watch Mount Everest closely, THIS trek is a perfect choice for you.
Fly to Lukla, then Trek to Sherpa Villages
Your trek begins when you fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2642m). After a 30-40 minutes flight, you land at Tenzing-Hilary airport. You take breakfast, meet your porters and hand over your luggage to them. Then, we walk towards Phakding – a Sherpa village. Meet the local Sherpa people, observe their culture and lifestyle.
What a natural habitat, traditional Sherpa villages and local wildlife and vegetation!
On the second day, you reach Namche bazaar (3440m) –the main business hub of the Khumbu region. We spend two nights at Namche, acclimatize and take rest. We also hike up Khumjung, the largest Sherpa village with prayer flags, chortens, mani walls and ancient monasteries resembling Buddhism in the Sherpa lives. Not only these, you see spectacular mountain views.
Tengboche to Everest Base Camp, Back to Lukla
You trek, follow the ridges and rivers through forests of rhododendron and reach Tengboche. On the backdrop, there lie Ama Dablam, Kangtega, Thamserku and the Everest group.
Then, the return journey of this Everest view panorama trekking via Monjo takes you to a lower altitude that allows you to sleep in greater comfort than at Namche. On the final day, you retreat to Lukla. Catch an early morning flight and land at TIA in Kathmandu.
