Shivpuri – Nagarkot Tour

Shivapuri – Nagarkot Tour is one of the highest preferred tour routes by domestic and international tourists. This tour offers sightseeing of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, observing typical Nepali culture and exploring Kathmandu valley.

Your real tour starts driving you to Sundarijal which lies in the Shivapuri National Park – a dynamic sub-tropical climate and a home for a wide range of flora, fauna and wild species (mammals, birds and other creatures.

After you land at the Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will welcome you and drive to our luxury hotel/guesthouse and assist you to check-in. So, look for someone holding a placard with your name or our company’s name – Let’s Go Hiking – waiting for you.

On this day, you simply take a rest at Hotel/Guesthouse overnight and restore your energy to accomplish your upcoming adventurous trip.

In the evening, our company arranges a short introduction meeting. You will meet your guide, and our trekking expert will provide you with all the detailed information about the trip.

After breakfast, you start sightseeing tours to the world heritage sites of Kathmandu valley extending to the three ancient cities of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan. These cities house seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites – Bouddhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square and Changunarayan Temple.

You visit Pashupatinath Temple (the holiest Hindu Temple on the bank of the sacred Bagmati River), Boudhanath Stupa (the biggest Buddhist Stupa architecture in the world), Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square and Chagunarayan Temple. You also go to Swayambhunath Stupa – the 2,000 years old legendary stupa on the hilltop also nick-named as ‘Monkey Temple’ with numerous shrines and monasteries on its premises. Finally, we come to Kathmandu Durbar Square; observe Kumari Temple (living goddess temple), Nautale Durbar, the Kaal Bhairav, the Swet Bhairav.

Also, you can observe hustle and bustle of Kathmandu city, markets and restaurants. Thamel, the center of tourists, caters you to luxurious hotels, rows of restaurants and bars, book shops, inviting souvenir shops, cyber cafes and travel agencies. You can meet many international tourists from different regions of the world. Likewise, you can visit Asan – the busiest market with rows of shops that sell local and imported spices to kitchenware, grocery, fresh vegetables, Chinese goods, hardware, clothes, handicrafts and many more. Garden of Dreams, Pharphing, Kirtipur and Chandragiri Hills are also important places to visit in Kathmandu.

Overnight, you stay at a luxurious hotel and enjoy vivid Kathmandu.

 

Today, after early breakfast, we drive you to Sundarijal – the gateway to the trip. You walk through Shivapuri National Park, the habitat of 19 species of mammals including 9 endangered species in this area – Himalayan black bear, leopard, barking deer, wild boar, wild cat, rhesus monkey and langur monkey). Further, it houses 177 species of birds, 129 varieties of mushrooms and 102 species of butterflies.

Then, our trail goes through Mulkharka – a Tamang village, we pass dense forest and drop to Borlang  Bhanjyang. A further few hours trek takes to Chisapani after 5-6 hours trek. Witness the spectacular picaresque of Ganesh Himal and Langtang Himal.

Overnight, we stay at Chisopani.

 

Having a warm breakfast seeing snow-capped mountains, we head towards Nagarkot. We walk on the rough trails; pass through jungles, traditional farmland and rural villages. However, the scenes of natural landscapes and the magnificent views of Jugal Himal and Dorje Lakpa Himal keep you continue trekking further.

Finally, we reach Nagarkot – the hill town with natural flora and fauna in the surroundings. You capture the marvelous sunset view over spectacular mountain ranges including Mt. Everest.

Overnight, we stay at Nagarkot and take a rest.

Early in the morning at Nagarkot, we enjoy an astonishing sunrise view – a golden ball coming out from the spectacular snow-capped mountain ranges. We take breakfast and start trekking to Changunarayan Temple – a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest temples in Nepal. On the way, we witness the spectacular views of the mountains, greeneries and landscapes.

After exploring the arts, culture and surroundings of this holiest temple, we drive you back to Kathmandu.

Overnight, you stay at a luxurious hotel in Kathmandu.

 

We offer you a delicate breakfast and transfer to the Tribhuvan International airport via our private transportation. We bid a happy ‘Goodbye’ to you and wish safe flight.
