Very close to your unaided eyes, you will witness Mt. Everest (the world’s highest peak), Khumbu Glacier (the world’s highest glacier), Sagarmatha National Park (the highest elevated National Park of Nepal), Hillary School plus Hospital, Tengboche Monastery, Sherpa Culture Museum and many exciting places and things during your trek.
Imagine the glimpse of dazzling snowy-white peaks at Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Pumori, Khumbutse, Island Peak, Mera Peak, Lobuche, and more. Truly, the journey offers you an awe-inspiring vista of gigantic 4 out of 14 world’s highest peaks above 8,000m: Cho-Oyu (8,201m), Makalu (8,485m), Lhotse (8,516m), Mt. Everest (8,848Mm).
You pass through Sagarmatha National Park – a UNESCO World Heritage Site recognized since 1979 and the home to the world’s highest peak – Mt. Everest (8,848 m). Sagarmatha is the Nepali name for Mount Everest. A wide variety of wildlife including 118 + birds species, plants (rhododendron and juniper trees), animals (deer, wolf, Himalayan back bear, etc.), endangered species (rarely seen) –snow leopard, red panda, and two kinds of dazzling pheasants – the crimson-horned and the Impeyan, Nepal’s national bird.
What do you Do or See?
From the starting of the expedition, every step you take on the adventure feels different, and you see something different. On your first day, you fly between massive mountains to reach Lukla – one of the most dangerous airports in the world. Your adventurous activities start right from here. Don’t worry; the rewards that you will receive are limitless, surprising, surpassing and a lifetime memory.
Mule trails, difficult paths, rocky mountains, cliffs, the coldest rivers, and suspension bridges are all part of the expedition. This is real trekking, isn’t it? In return, you get a true picture of Sherpa villages (mostly in the Khumbu region), their culture and habitat, listen and meditate with “Om Mani Padme Hum”, a mantra (chant) venerated by Buddhists at Tengboche Monastery (the largest Gompa you visit during your trek) and other Gompas. You feel amazed discovering Buddhist art, culture and inscription on the stones.
