Nepal Overland Tour

Nepal Overland Tour is slightly shorter but one of the most popular tours among domestic and international tourists. You are going to visit Seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites in a single Kathmandu valley – it comprises Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur. Further, you visit Pokhara – the most beautiful city in Nepal with lakes, greenery and mountain views. Then, you visit Chitwan – the treasure of jungles with thousands of species of birds, animals and vegetation. Finally, your tour ends with enjoying the sunrise/sunset views over snow-capped mountains (Annapurna I, Jugal Himal, Langtang Himal and the southern part of Mt.. Everest)

We take breakfast and start trekking to Changunarayan Temple – a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest temples in Nepal. On the way, we witness the spectacular views of the mountains, greeneries and landscapes

After you land at the Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will welcome you and drive to our luxury hotel/guesthouse and assist you to check-in. So, look for someone holding a placard with your name or our company’s name – Let’s Go Hiking – waiting for you.

On this day, you simply take a rest at Hotel/Guesthouse overnight and restore your energy to accomplish your upcoming adventurous trip.

In the evening, our company arranges a short introduction meeting. You will meet your guide, and our trekking expert will provide you with all the detailed information about the trek.

After breakfast, you start sightseeing tours to the world heritage sites of Kathmandu valley extending to the three ancient cities of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan. These cities house seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites – Bouddhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square and Chagunarayan Temple.

You visit Pashupatinath Temple (the holiest Hindu Temple on the bank of the sacred Bagmati River), Boudhanath Stupa (the biggest Buddhist Stupa architecture in the world), Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square and Chagunarayan Temple. You also go to Swayambhunath Stupa – the 2,000 years old legendary stupa on the hilltop also nick-named as ‘Monkey Temple’ with numerous shrines and monasteries on its premises. Finally, we come to Kathmandu Durbar Square; observe Kumari Temple (living goddess temple), Nautale Durbar, the Kaal Bhairav, the Swet Bhairav.

In Kathmandu, you can observe hundreds of other exquisite monuments, sculptures, artistic temples and magnificent art – reminders of the golden era in Nepal’s architecture. So, Kathmandu is nicknamed as the city of temples.

Also, you can observe hustle and bustle of Kathmandu city, markets and restaurants. Thamel, the center of tourists, caters you with luxurious hotels, rows of restaurants and bars, book shops, inviting souvenir shops, cyber cafes and travel agencies. You can meet many international tourists from different regions of the world. Likewise, you can visit Asan – the busiest market with rows of shops that sell local and imported spices to kitchenware, grocery, fresh vegetables, Chinese goods, hardware, clothes, handicrafts and many more. Garden of Dreams, Pharphing, Kirtipur and Chandragiri Hills are also important places to visit in Kathmandu.

Overnight, you stay at a luxurious hotel and enjoy vivid Kathmandu.

After enjoying a warm breakfast early in the morning, we start our beautiful journey to Pokhara via a luxury tourist bus. On the way, you enjoy the scenic pastoral landscapes, terrace farming, and rows of settlements on both sides of the road. We guarantee that you will be so happy to see distant mountains, close giant hills, rural villages, fast-flowing rivers (Trishuli, Narayani and Marsyangdi).

If you feel tired of a long bus journey, then you have the option of flying from Kathmandu to Pokhara (about 25 minutes) at an extra cost. The choice is yours.

Finally, you reach Pokhara – the city of lakes, multi-culture and main tourist hub. We transfer you to the hotel, freshen up and take a rest. In the evening, you can go for an evening walk around the lakeside city.

After taking a warm breakfast in the morning, our city excursion starts in Pokhara – the city of blue lakes (Cluster of 9 Lakes) with greenery, enchanting fresh water and air, spectacular backdrop of snowy peaks and clean streets, shops and roads.

As per our schedule, our tour begins visiting David’s Fall – a ferocious waterfall that originates from Phewa Lake, follows through rocks and has created complex caves and tunnels on its path. Next is ‘Mahendra Cave’ commonly known as ‘Bats Cave’. Also, we go to Phewa lake and sailboats.

Going uphill, on the top of the southern fringe of Phewa Lake, you reach the World Peace Pagoda. Observe pristine Phewa Lake, greenery surrounding, beautiful Pokhara city and Annapurna massifs in distance. It’s amazing.

In the evening, you can Gurung or Magar cultural shows and enjoy splendid Pokhara city.

After taking an early meal, we drive you to Sarankot before the sun rises. Observe golden sun rising from Annapurna ranges. Beneath, you can see beautiful lakes and Pokhara city. We take lunch here at Sarankot.

Pokhara is also famous for some adventurous activities – sailing boats, paragliding, ultra-light aircraft flights, and mountain flights and so on.

After taking lunch at Sarangkot, we return to our hotel and pack up our luggage. Finally, we drive to Bandipur by a luxury tourist bus or private vehicle. On the way, you enjoy the scenic pastoral landscapes, terrace farming, green rolling hills, fast-flowing rivers and rows of settlements on both sides of the road.

After 2 hours of a comfortable journey, we reach Bandipur – predominantly a Newar town with its age-old flavor still intact and well preserved, Bandipur welcomes you with its unique offerings such as rich hill culture, mountain views, and hiking.

Overnight, we stay at Bandipur and enjoy the Newari culture.

Early in the morning, we take a warm breakfast at Bandipur and drive to Kathmandu in a luxury tourist bus or private vehicle. On the way, you enjoy the scenic pastoral landscapes, terrace farming, green rolling hills, fast-flowing rivers and rows of settlements on both sides of the road.

After 4-5 hours of a comfortable journey, we reach Kathmandu. Again, we continue our drive to Nagarkot before sunset.

We enjoy the sunset view over spectacular mountain ranges including Mt. Everest. and stay at Nagarkot overnight.

Early in the morning at Nagarkot, we enjoy an astonishing sunrise view – a golden ball coming out from the spectacular snow-capped mountain ranges. We take breakfast and start trekking to Changunarayan Temple – a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest temples in Nepal. On the way, we witness the spectacular views of the mountains, greeneries and landscapes.

After exploring the arts, culture and surroundings of this holiest temple, we drive you back to Kathmandu.

Overnight, you stay at a luxurious hotel in Kathmandu.

We offer you a delicate breakfast and transfer to the Tribhuvan International airport via our private transportation. We bid a happy ‘Goodbye’ to you and wish safe flight.
