Lobuche Peak Climbing offers you with two options – Lobuche East (6,119m) and Lobuche West (6,145m). Being recently opened, we choose to Lobuche West; however, we can climb Lobuche East when our clients demand.

As compared to Island Peak Climbing, Lobuche West Peak Climbing is more challenging and demands more physical fitness and technical expertise. In return, you stand at the top of the Lobuche West Peak and observe jaw-dropping scenes of pristine mountain peaks such as Mt. Everest, Mt. AmaDablam, Mt Makalu, Lhotse, etc. and glaciers.

After you land at the Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will welcome you and drive to our luxury hotel/guesthouse and assist you to check-in. So, look for someone holding a placard with your name or our company’s name – Let’s Go Hiking – waiting for you.

On this day, you simply take a rest at Hotel/Guesthouse overnight and restore your energy to accomplish your upcoming adventurous trip.

In the evening, our company arranges a short introduction meeting. You will meet your guide, and our trekking expert will provide you with all the detailed information about the trek.

After breakfast, you start sightseeing tours to the world heritage sites of Kathmandu valley. You visit Pashupatinath Temple (the holiest Hindu Temple on the bank of the sacred Bagmati River), Boudhanath Stupa (the biggest Buddhist Stupa architecture in the world), Patan Durbar Square. You also go to Swayambhunath Stupa – the 2000 years old legendary stupa on the hilltop also nick-named as monkey temple. Finally, we come to Kathmandu Durbar Square; observe Kumari Temple (living goddess temple), Nautale Durbar, the Kaal Bhairav, the Swet Bhairav, the freak streets and more.

Your tour ends today. You have dinner and take a rest restoring energy for the upcoming adventure.

Today, your actual adventurous trip to Everest Base Camp begins here.

We take an early morning 30-40 minutes flight of Kathmandu-Lukla. As the place plane passes between towering mountains, the flight offers you the thrilling experience of the turbulence and serene picturesque of the Himalayan range. Finally, you land at Lukla airport – the gateway to the Everest Region. How would you feel landing on the airport with just a single runway on a cliff?

Lukla airport is one of the most dangerous airports in the world. You will get surprised.

At Lukla, you get to rest for some time, meet your local porters and arrange the bag-packs.

From Lukla, after submitting your Trekking Permit Card at the Lukla checkpoint, your footsteps step towards Phakding – a Sherpa village renowned for the 500 years old monastery.  You follow the trails down to Thalsaroa, and then to Cheplung, the trail traces along Dudh Koshi valley enjoying the introductory view of Mt. Khumbila (5,761m/18901ft). Continuing your pace for a few hours, you reach Ghat (2,520m/8,350ft). Further a short walk from Ghat, we reach Phakding – today’s destination. Enjoy the best hotel, hygienic cuisine, and friendly hospitality with superb service at Phakding.

Today, we trek from Phakding to Namche – the largest tourism hub in the Everest region.

We begin passing through the dense fir, alpine, and rhododendron forest along Dudh Koshi River and ascend to Benkar. From Benkar, we pass through dense forest and cross suspension bridges which take us to Chhumuwa and Monjo.

At Monjo, you must register your trekking permit at the check-post, and then trek inside the Sagarmatha National Park. You feel completely enthusiastic about the wonderful environment of the park. Also, you may encounter wild animals and several species of vegetation. Watch them out!

Ahead, we cross the Tenzing-Hillary suspension bridge over Dudh-Koshi River, ascend via the pine and fir forest to the ridge.

On the trail toward the ridge, we have the first glimpse of Mt. Everest.  Enjoy it.

Continue your uphill pace for a couple of hours; finally, you arrive in Namche. Enjoy the rest of your time at Namche – standard lodging and modern facilities like ATMs, internet, cyber cafes, pubs, restaurants and so on.

We acclimate, explore, and rest in Namche on this day.

As a part of acclimatization, after taking breakfast, we walk towards the Sagarmatha National Park museum. Enjoy and learn about the Sherpa culture, local flora and fauna of this region.

After exiting from the museum, we head towards the Everest view hotel – one of the world’s highest hotels. The panoramic view of snow-capped mountains such as Mt. Khumbila (5,761m/18,901ft), Mt. Thamserku (6,623m/21,729ft), Mt. Everest (8,848m/29,029ft), Lhotse (8,516m/27,940ft) and AmaDablam (6,812m/22,349ft) leaves you speechless.

If you wish to explore more energetically, we can further visit Khumjung and Kunde villages where you see Hillary school, Hillary Hospital, and Syangboche airstrip.

Otherwise, you just come down to Namche Bazaar. We take a rest or explore the beautiful tourist hub, and enjoy other facilities at Namche bazaar.

Early in the morning, we take breakfast and start climbing up to the Namche village. On the way, we visualize a spectacular view of Mt. Everest.

After a few hours, the trail reaches Sanasa junction – the intersection of Everest Base Camp Trek and Gokyo Lake trek. To get to EBC, we take a right turn. Trekking down to the villages Lawichasa and Tashinga with the majestic view of sparkling Ama Dablam (6856m/22,493ft) and walking again, we reach Phunki Thanga. After enjoying lunch at Phunki, we ascend to Tengboche passing through the dense rhododendron, juniper, and alpine woodland.

Tengboche is well-known for the Tengboche Gompa – one of the oldest monasteries of this region. Inspect evening prayer at Gompa, and enjoy comfy accommodation and delicious meals.

Early morning, we take warm breakfast at Tengboche, and follow the trails to Dingboche. Trekking along the stone-paved trail, we reach Debuche. Visit Debuche Nunnery, inspect the Thanka paintings, Mural paintings, and architecture there. Here, you can take a rest for some time.

After that, we continue our hiking from Debuche and reach Pangboche. From Pangboche, we go down the trains to Somare then to Orso. Further, we cross a suspension bridge over the Imja River. Walking for a few hours alongside the Imja River, we reach the summer village, Dingboche – the last human settlements at this higher altitude. We spend a pleasant night here, enjoy delicate meals and relax.

After Namche, today is our second acclimatization day. This supports trekkers in adjusting to the thinner air at higher elevations.

As scheduled, after breakfast, we start trekking from the north ridge of Dingboche and climb to Nangkar Tshang Peak (5,616m/18,425ft). From the peak, we witness the wonderful glimpse of snow-capped peaks Mt. Makalu (8,463m/21,204ft), AmaDablam (6,856m/22,493ft), Island peak (6,189m/20,305ft) and Thamserku (6623m/21,729ft). After completely savouring nature’s beauty, we come back to Dingboche. In the evening, we catch the finest moment of late sunshine. Then, we enjoy hygienic meals and take proper rest.

Today, we eat proper breakfast and be ready to trek a complete uphill trip. From Dingboche, we follow rocky trails to Dusa. We keep hiking uphill enjoying the fantastic view of numerous peaks such as Taboche (6,542m), Cholatse (6,440m), Ama Dablam (6,856m), Pumori (7,161m), Khumbutse (6,636) and Lhotse (8,516m).

Along the ridge, we walk for about an hour and cross Thokla Pass (4,830m/15,846ft) through the moraine glacial formed by the Khumbu glacier. A further few minutes walk takes us to Lobuche – today’s final destination.

At Lobuche, feel comfortable with a warm meal, relax and think of climbing to the Everest Base Camp tomorrow.

Today, you feel more excited. Your dream of climbing the world’s highest base camp comes true on this day.

Take early breakfast, and start following the narrow mountain gaps and glacial moraine. Keeping your pace for 2-3 hours on the rocky path, you reach Gorakshep – the last human settlement. Here, you check-in at the hotel and leave your heavy loads behind.

Following the right side of Gorakshep, we ascend for 2-3 hours trekking through the rocky sandpit and boulders alongside the glacial river of the world’s highest Khumbu glacier. Finally, we reach our final destination of the Everest region, Everest Base camp (5,364m).

Enjoy the perfect landscape, 360° view of Mountains like Nuptse-Lhotse, and Khumbu glacier just above EBC. You can meet other international trekkers, enjoy your time, capture the best moments, celebrate victory, and exchange happiness with one another.

For some time, you feel lost in the outstanding beauty of the Everest region – Everest Base Camp. Then, we drop down to Gorakshep, enjoy a warm meal and take a rest in the cozy lodging.

After EBC, one of the expedition’s highlights is a side trek to the top of Kala Patthar (5,644m). It takes around 2-3 hours to get from Gorakshep to Kala Patthar. We start our trip before dawn in the hopes of catching a mesmerizing sunrise view, beautiful landscape, and a glittering view of Mt. Everest (8848m) including Lingtren (6,749m), Khumbutse (6,636m), Nuptse (7,861m), and Pumori (7,161m). From Kala Patthar, we descend to Gorakshep for breakfast.

Finally, we descend to Lobuche – a Sherpa settlement.

Today, be ready to trek over a more challenging trail, but shorter than previous days. From Lobuche, we climb through icy boulders and rocky cliffs along the Lobuche Glacier.  On the trek, we enjoy the immaculate sight of Ama Dablam, Cholatse, Thamserku, Kantega, and other peaks.

After ascending for a few hours, we reach Lobuche Base Camp (West), set up a camp and stay overnight here.

Having an early warm breakfast, we follow the slippery and steep path to reach High Camp. After a difficult and cautious walk for 3-4 hours through the moraine path, we reach Lobuche High Camp.

At Lobuche High Camp, our porters and guides set up camps. We spend overnight here and take rest collecting energy for tomorrow’s expedition.

Today is the most awaited moment throughout our expedition. After early breakfast, our expedition to Lobuche West Summit starts.

Climbing the snow steep ridge makes the expedition riskier, so you should follow the guide’s instructions, guidelines and use gears cautiously. We need ropes, an axe, and crampons to go to the summit. The last ascent to the peak is difficult and steep, requires the use of a ladder to reach the summit (6,145m). When you reach Island Peak, celebrate your victory; capture the low countryside, towering peaks, and tranquil surroundings.

From the top of the Lobuche peak, witness the astonishing view of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Cholatse, Pumori, Tawache and other peaks. After spending some time at the top, we retrace back to Lobuche Base Camp.

We spend another night at Lobuche Base Camp.

After having early breakfast, we follow the trails towards Periche. We follow the route of Dhugla village, pass Lobuche Kharka and reach Dhugla village. Further, we trek down to Phulaji village, then to Periche – a wide valley. Periche is well-known for the primary health camp run by the Himalayan Rescue Association (HRA). You can get emergency health services and education about AMS from HRA.

Overnight, we stay at Perische.

 

Today as well, we keep on going down. From Periche, we follow the trail to Tengboche. First of all, the route descends to Orso, then to Somare village following the west bank of Imja River. Then, we drop down to Imja Khola, walk along with it and ascend to Debuche.

From Debuche, we pass through dense rhododendron forest, cross a suspension bridge and reach Tengboche. In the Everest region, Tengboche owns the largest sacred monastery – Tengboche Monastery. We visit Gompa, explore it and enjoy the Buddhist culture of the village.

Overnight, we stay at Tengboche.

From Tengboche, we follow the trail down to Monjo. Dropping down, we come to Phunki Thenga where you can see the water-driven huge prayer wheel. After that, we go down to Sansa – a fork from where the routes depart to Gokyo Lake, Khumjung Valley or Khyangjuma village.

We follow the trail of Khyangjuma village and reach Namche Bazaar. From here, we continue dropping down to Sagarmatha National Park. Finally, we reach Monjo. Overnight, we stay at Monjo.

We keep on retracing back. From Monjo, we follow the trails down to Dudh Koshi River, and reach Phakding. Further, we trek passing by different Sherpa villages and crossing a suspension bridge above Thado Koshi. Eventually, after ascending for about 45 minutes, we reach Lukla.  You have accomplished Everest Panorama Trek successfully. Reconfirm your flight Ticket and say goodbye to the local porters.

Participate in the evening farewell ceremony, and thank your hard-working and ever-smiling porters. And, take a complete rest.

On this second last day of your trek, we fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla. Restore your memories in the plane flying between giant mountains.  After landing at TIA, you will be taken to your hotel.

Today, after the completion of adventurous Island Peak Climbing and mountain flights, you just relax and visit Kathmandu of your personal interests.

Also, you can observe hustle and bustle of Kathmandu city, markets and restaurants. Thamel, the center of tourists, caters you to luxurious hotels, rows of restaurants and bars, book shops, inviting souvenir shops, cyber cafes and travel agencies. You can meet many international tourists from different regions of the world. Likewise, you can visit Asan – the busiest market with rows of shops that sell local and imported spices to kitchenware, grocery, fresh vegetables, Chinese goods, hardware, clothes, handicrafts and many more. Garden of Dreams, Pharphing, Kirtipur and Chandragiri Hills are also important places to visit in Kathmandu.

We offer you a delicate breakfast and transfer to the Tribhuvan International airport via our private transportation. We bid a happy ‘Goodbye’ to you and wish safe flight.
